Our
History
Serving You Home Care (SYHC) was founded by Jacque Hustead in 2016.
Jacque is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) whose passion for people took her from relating with them from behind her desk, at the Maryland Judiciary Internal Audit Department to relating with them more intimately by caring for them in their homes.
Caring for others forms a core part of who Jacque is. Born and raised by a father who is blind, Jacque was taught to be eyes, ears, hands, and feet not only for her father but for all those around her. These values are what drive Jacque to care so passionately for her clients. Each one of them reminds her of her dad in a different way which makes her care for them like they are her own family.
In December of 2022, Jacque's father will turn 90 (God willing). With the help of compassionate family members, her dad has and continues to age gracefully and live independently in his own home. Jacque’s mission at SYHC is to provide care with compassion and respect to all clients to enable them to continue living in their own homes just like her dad.
Serving You Home Care is committed to providing high-quality non-medical home care services to our clients and their families.
Our priority is to provide state-of-the-art and compassionate in-home care from experienced, certified, and or highly-trained aides.
At Serving You Home Care, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to live a healthy, active, and fulfilling life. This ethos is at the heart of everything we do.
Rather than take over and do everything for our clients, we actively encourage them to try and to keep doing whatever they can for themselves with us right by their side to help them when they cannot. It takes a lot of patience and compassion not to decide to do it for them and be done with it. We understand that it's the client's home and we are there to serve, not to impose.

Jacque won over my father and he quickly became very fond of her. His expression brightened when she came to care for him. She cared for him generously with kindness and compassion.
